You can enjoy a personage for his charisma, his look, his powers, his strength, his adventures and the enemies he faces or even because we recognize ourselves in him. And also, it happens that this character is also clairvoyant, with many cult replicas. This is what we are going to see today with Daredevil, the blind superhero of Marvelof which you could see a cameo of the actor of the eponymous Netflix series in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home. Stan Lee had a great sense of humor. Daredevil is no exception to the rule. In Daredevil #32after being dragged to a lighthouse by Cobra. This stinging line is so insulting to his opponents and foreshadows the outcome of the fight. Even though Daredevil is a dark and emotionally complex character, he never fails to crack a joke.

You defined me as being at street level? I call it being at the level of the inhabitants.
Matt Murdock is doing everything to help the inhabitants of Hell’s Kitchen. His ambitions do not reach the level of other heroes, but his work is essential. In Daredevil vol 6 #22, this sentence addressed to Tony Stark sums up how he defines himself and his work. His ambitions are realistic.

Consider my ban on killing lifted! Kill them all !
Daredevil, like many Loyal-Good superheroes, does not kill their opponents. Fans of the character in Shadowland #3 were horrified to see what the character has once been possessed by the Beast when he utters this sentenceturning him into a powerful criminal baron working for the Hand.
#4 the bull
Sometimes even the bull can win!
In Daredevil #5, after being humiliated by the crowd, Elaganto the Matador turns to theft and crime, using his bullfighting skills to fight off the police (yes, yes). Having to face Daredevil, our favorite hero will slip this little pike after looking at the criminal’s face.
#5 revenge
Revenge may seem like the only thing that matters, but I walked this path, and it was empty.
We advance until Daredevil #599 with this phrase that sums up the Daredevil mantra and that of many others, such as Batman or Spider-Man. Seeking revenge is not a solutionsince it only brings regret and guilt.

I am not you Frank. I will never be you.
Daredevil and the Punisher have had many violent and intense stories together, as they are the opposite of each other. This quote sums up the dichotomy between the two characters, especially regarding the fact of being able – or not – to kill. Despite the fact that they are often compared, this single difference is too strong to consider them identical.
#7 Lawyer vs Hero
As Daredevil, I can save the world. As a lawyer, maybe I can fix it. I need both.
The double lives of heroes are always interesting. As a vigilante, Murdock can take down criminals and return them to the justice system, and as a lawyer, he ensures they receive a fair trial and a deserved sentence. The quote from volume 5 #25 sums up why readers love this duality.

This sentence does not come from Daredevil, but from his main enemy, the Kingpin. But it’s also one of the best of all comics, coming from Daredevil #229. She describes how Kingpin sees Daredevil. They clashed so much that they no longer fear the consequences.

This excellent phrase comes from number #612. It reminds the reader a theme commonly expressed in the Daredevil comics: despair. Often the hero feels that God is punishing him. These moments of darkness are important for him, to improve and reflect on his own meaning.

A man without fear that they call me. Only because I’m blind. If I could see half the shit I’m getting myself into, I’d be scared [du] chestnut.
Daredevil’s best quote is obviously when he’s humorous about his own blindness… And when he takes the opportunity to make a joke below the belt, recalling that he has a fear, and this one is brown, fragrant and drags on the sidewalks. Meet in the Daredevil Vol 3 #10 to enjoy.
