Marvel: Ryan Reynolds responds with humor on the debut of Deadpool in the MCU

A few days ago, we presented this concept art to you which introduced Dead Pool in the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsthe opportunity for fans to review the character and discuss his integration in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (mcu). And justly, Ryan Reynoldsthe actor who interprets theantiherorecently made some revelations about it, well sort of.

an interview like no other

Ryan Reynolds appeared in a Yahoo! Entertainment video, titled Kid Gloves, in which children spoke with the actor on the occasion of the recent release of the film The Adam Project, available on Netflix. During this interview, the children took the opportunity to ask Reynolds when the character of Deadpool was going to make his debut in the MCU, and in which film “specifically”. And as Reynolds began to answer the question, his entire response was blacked out while an image of Marvel Studios President Kevin Feigeappeared behind the actor, with this sentence: “Kevin Feige is not having fun”.

Since Disney bought 21st Century Fox and the company was able to reclaim the movie rights to X-Men characters, fans wonder if and when Deadpool will join the MCU. Recently, some fans thought they saw an image of the character hidden in a poster of the next film. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But although Reynolds denied having a role in the filmgiven that actor Andrew Garfield had made similar claims regarding his appearance in the latest Spider-Man: No Way Homesome fans are still skeptical.

Feige and former Disney CEO Bob Iger have both confirmed that a third film Dead Pool is under development, and that it will both be a continuation of the MCU, while maintaining its “R-rated” rating just like its predecessors. More recently, it was revealed that Shawn Levy, the director of the films Free Guy and The Adam Project in which Reynolds has the title role, would lead the film.

As the long-awaited film progresses, Reynolds recently turned to the public to push for major inclusion in Deadpool 3. The actor asked fans to campaign with Feige and Marvel Studios for X-Men star Hugh Jackman, will reprise the role of Wolverine in the upcoming film, a role Jackman has repeatedly said he doesn’t want to play anymore. Reynolds said:

I say write to Kevin Feige, head of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Buena Vista Way. I don’t know where it is, but yeah, that would be nice. It would be a dream. It would be a dream come true.

Movies Dead Pool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018) became the two highest-grossing films in Fox’s X-Men franchise, grossing $785 million and $782.6 million respectively. This success follows years of doubts about the comic book character’s appealdoubts that have been dismissed after the leak of test footage proving the existence of a demand for the interpretation of the antihero by Reynolds.
