A whole new era will soon begin for Spider-Man in Marvel comics. Indeed, Marvel Comics is preparing a reboot of the weaver with the launch of a new series: Tea Amazing Spider-Man directed by Zeb Well and John Romita Jr. The opportunity to present a brand new Spider-Man costume and bring one of his worst enemies back to center stage.
Amazing Spider-Man
The new series Tea Amazing Spider-Man features Peter Parker back at the center of the action after being sidelined during the era Tea Amazing Spider-Man Beyond. According to the synopsis offered by Marvel Comics, the new series Tea Amazing Spider-Man can be summed up as follows:
“Peter’s broke with Fantastic Four. He’s broke with the Avengers. He’s even broke with Aunt May. After a terrible and mysterious accident, no one wants to see Spider-Man anymore except for Dr. Octopus. Ock is on Spider-Man’s back and the master planner has something really terrible in store for Spider-Man when he puts his tentacles on him. Spider-Man’s worst enemies.”
The return of Norman Osborn
This new saga Spiderman will also be an opportunity to introduce an all-new costume and accessories for Spidey. But this new gear will be lent by an unexpected character. Indeed, it is Norman Osborn who will finance the weaver’s new equipment. The former Green Goblin will indeed make his big comeback in Tea Amazing Spider-Man #7 and #8 in which he will present himself as an ally of Peter Parker. Thus, Spider-Man will end up with gliders and bombs straight out of the Green Goblin’s garage. A somewhat special piece of equipment for the man who has fought his worst enemy so many times in New York City.
So, in addition to Dr. Octopus and Tombstone, Norman Osborn will be back in Tea Amazing Spiderman, but as Spider-Man’s support. An astonishing status, which will surely reveal hidden Machiavellian plans… Tea Amazing Spider-Man #1 goes on sale April 27 in the United States.
