On February 9, on the occasion of a new Nintendo Direct, Nintendo lifted the veil on additional content for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, launched at the time of the Switch. While many fans eagerly awaited the announcement of a Mario Kart 9an additional circuit pass has been announced. Already in the wild, it arrives with 8 circuits from other games in the franchise, including legendary circuits.

This March 18, 2022 officially releases the Pass additional circuits of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Although the pass in question is not supposed to be released until tomorrow, it seems that it is already in the wild, according to several videos available on the web, as well as current streams. The owners of said pass were thus able to lay their eyes on the circuits concerned by this first wave of content. 8 circuits in total, the identity of which has recently been revealed.
Thus, two cups have been added, the “golden Turbo cut” and the “maneki-neko cut”. Regarding their circuits and their original game, it is to discover just below:

As a reminder, the 6 waves of the Pass additional circuits of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be obtained at no additional cost through a Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack subscription, i.e. €39.99 per year. Second option, the classic pass, without Online subscription which costs a whopping €24.99. Two possibilities for races that will arrive gradually by the end of 2023. Anyway, this first wave contains a majority of races from Mario Kart Tour, the mobile game strongly criticized by a string of players. The opportunity for these players to discover these circuits, for the first time added to a console opus.
