Just over a month away from the release of Jurassic World: The World After, Universal Pictures is turning up the heat with a new trailer that blows our minds. The atmosphere of the end of the world has never been palpable there, while the roles of the characters of the original saga are becoming clearer. We look forward !
A long-awaited conclusion
Jurassic World 3, Dominion, Where The world after : no matter what name you give it, you may be one of the millions of fans who are eagerly waiting the conclusion of the trilogy started in 2015, but also and above all of the entire franchise, already composed of five films, the first of which dates back to 1993. If the very first Jurassic Park has, in the eyes of many, never been equaled by these successors, they have always been able to arouse the curiosity of the public and bring them to the theater.
So it’s a safe bet that the same is true for Jurassic World 3whose the first trailer uploaded two months ago (visible below) attracted no less than 50 million people on the distributor’s YouTube channel.
And if you were hyped by this trailer, there is a good chance that the new one will make you even more impatient for the month that remains to wait.
A colorful finale and an intriguing character
If you have seen the previous section, you know that in Jurassic World: The World After, all the dinosaurs are free in the four corners of the planet after successfully escaping the island on which they were being held against their will. Let’s also remember that for this ultimate feature film in the franchise, cast members from the original trilogy will be returning.
Among them is Henry Wu, former chief geneticist responsible for the creation of several types of dinosaurs. In the new trailer which you can watch just below, we see that the guy is torn by his past and is aware of the mistakes he has made.
Some fans therefore already imagine that he will occupy a central role in Colin Trevorrow’s film, already directing on the first Jurassic World, and his redemption arc could even lead to his death: characters who manage to repent often find death at the end of the road. Indeed, he seems to be one of the few to realize the seriousness of his mistakes and seems to be ready to fight alongside Owen, Claire and the others to improve the situation.
If this is only a matter of speculation, we are on the other hand certain that this Jurassic World 3 will keep the formula of these predecessors, based on intense and ever more impressive action scenes (Oh, mysterious sea monster!), as well as touches of humor and more intimate moments that we hope to be subtly integrated. On the scenario side, if the goal will be above all to find a solution to allow life in harmony between men and dinosaurs, it will also be based on a promise: the one made by Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to the velociraptor Blue, to bring back her child, captured by bad guys.
Not sure that the scenario flies very high therefore, but the apocalyptic atmosphere presented in this second trailer of Jurassic World: The World according to, available June 8, 2022 in our dark rooms, seems promising, and the role that Henry Wu will have to play is particularly intriguing.
