This Wednesday, March 16, the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 released in our cinemas. Released in Japan on December 24, the film is already presented as a phenomenon. Based on the eponymous series, the film could be viewed almost everywhere in France during previews. Only, faced with an overflow massively relayed on Twitter, the Grand Rex found itself forced to react.

Among the latest revelations, it’s hard to miss the rising star of the shonens: Jujutsu Kaisen. Prior to this peak in popularity, Gege Akutami’s work had been presented via a prequel, renamed Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to facilitate the link between the two works. A work adapted to the cinema which makes it possible to introduce new characters while offering an appreciable perspective on existing characters, main or secondary.
Only, it sometimes happens that this fervor, which is sometimes found in cinemas, goes too far. Regulars of dark rooms are no strangers to explosions of joy, laughter, applause or even loud chanting. Marvel productions have been confronted with this in particular lately, as have other sagas before them. But as on too many occasions, it sometimes happens that overflows occur. We discover spectators, standing, screaming, shouting and jumping, after the appearance of a character appreciated by Jujutsu Kaisen. A video that aroused strong reactions away from these spectators visibly unconcerned about the experience of the other fans present in the room. Faced with the criticisms and the names of birds that quickly flared up, the Grand Rex found itself forced to react. In a press release published on its official account, the cinema deplores “an overly restless crowd“during this session:
