On this second day of testimony, Amber Heard went back on what would have happened spent in Australia between her and Johnny Depp. The actress ofAquaman explains having visited the latter in Australiaabout a month after their wedding, in early 2015, when the actor was filming the fifth film Pirates of the Caribbean. She said that on their first night together, a planned dinner at the house where Johnny Depp was staying escalated into a big argument.
Johnny Depp, who she said had been drinking, then pushed her against the refrigerator and held her by the throat. She would have then freed from its grip and retired upstairs, returning later with a nightgown. Johnny Depp being always awake, the actress would have tried to make him eat since they had not dined together, but the latter would have been “belligerent” and allegedly threw bottles that shattered around her.
After another surge of anger, Johnny Depp then allegedly ripped off her nightgown, leaving her naked, and threw her on a ping-pong table before sexually assaulting her with a bottle:
I’m against the wall and he’s screaming at me that he hates me, that I ruined his life. He said, ”Fuck, I’m going to kill you”, before shoving a bottle of alcohol into my vagina. All I felt was this pain.
The actress, who looks crestfallen as she reveals the sordid details, says to have remained motionless during this rape because she did not know then “if the bottle with which he penetrated her was broken”. She then says she has “lost bladder control”and having found that there was “blood on the ground” from the bathroom.
The actress reveals that it would be during this traumatic event that Johnny Depp cut his finger. For his part, the actor claims that Amber Heard is responsible for this injury, since she threw a bottle at him, which the actress denies. Following Amber Heard’s revelations, Queensland Police said they were unaware of the allegations, and that no complaint had been lodged.
