This summer will land the long-awaited spin-off series of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon. A little over three months from the release of the first episode, set for August 8, HBO is relaunching the hype train by unveiling new images, posters highlighting the characters that we will get to know. But also a new trailer!
A new trailer for house of the dragon
First spin-off from Game Of Thrones, House of the Dragon will act as a prequel since it will take place 200 years before the events of the series worldwide success that ended in 2019. We will follow House Targaryen in the twilight of its golden age, as the civil war of “Dance of the Dragons” is fast approaching and the dragons are just about to disappear.
Well, we already knew that. But the show’s official twitter account has been on fire over the past hour, publishing new posters, but also a new trailer available below!
“History does not remember blood, it remembers names”. If you still doubted it, House of the Dragon will indeed give pride of place to power struggles, as evidenced by this brand new trailer. We will find everything that made the success of the series, namely often very raw violence, breathtaking special effects and sets, as well as incredible music. Logic: Ramin Djawadi will be in charge again.
Nine posters that highlight the characters
Like what Amazon did for the Prime Video series Rings of Power, the official Twitter page of House of the Dragon also unveiled posters highlighting its characters. Less original in form than the twenty posters unveiled for The Lord of the Rings, they nevertheless fulfill their role well in allowing us to focus exclusively on how the cast looks and remembering who’s who in passing.
