The mystery that envelops Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is dissipating more and more. We now know more about the clap at the end of the band at Star Lord. After the announcement of the end of filming, it is a sequence which melted James Gunn in tears which is teased.

Previously, the announcement of the end of the adventures of Star Lord, Drax or Rocket had caused a stir among fans of the license. Indeed, this third part will bring together Guardians of the Galaxy for the last time, at least together, even if it is expected that these last are integrated elsewhere in the MCU.
Some of them might die, too. Dave Bautista, the interpreter of Drax, announced some time ago that his contract with Marvel ended at the end of this third installment. For her part, Karen Gillan expressed her concern to no longer interpret his character of Nebula and has also asked MCU fans to come forward to the studios to ask that a series centered on his character be started:

End of filming, and a very emotional sequence

And speaking of the end of filming, the crazy director already behind Suicide Squad has just unveiled the last sequence made for the needs of the film:
After 100 days of filming and more than 300 shots, here is the clapperboard of the last shot of GOTG 3. A plan with Rocket, the first with Sean Gunn. This sequence took everything inside me, leaving me in tears.
A sequence, although still mysterious, seems to be very rich in emotions, according to Gunn’s words. As a reminder, Sean Gunn is the brother of the director and is the interpreter of Kraglin the pest.
Rocket in the center
This scene confirms in any case that Rocket will indeed be at the center of this 3rd opus. On this subject, we were talking to you this weekend about the possible presence of the Master of Evolution (High Evolutionary in VO), as the main antagonist. A well-known character for transforming a group of animals into humanoid characters talkies he named “New Men”. Could it be that he is, therefore, the creator of the famous raccoon?
For the time being, the MCU has not yet explained where Rocket came from, nor what he had experienced during his childhood. The Master of Evolution could thus answer this question that torments fans, and would therefore be an adequate way to explore Rocket’s past. However, we will have to wait to learn more about this link between the two characters. The film is expected in May 2023.
