The release of the film Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets could leave us fearing the worst. And for good reason, the saga had not had good press since the release of the last episode, strongly criticized by the fans. Fantastic Beasts 3 had absolutely everything to put off the public. Steve Kloves miraculously catches up with the saga with Fantastic Beasts 3, but does not solve the big problems of the series. However, he is by far the best of the three. The saga has become FUN again. The different layers behind the character of Dumbledore are interestingly dissected and explored. I had a good time !

Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets is an improvement over the sequel, though it only stealthily captures the magic from it. Mads Mikkelsen is a big addition, although the most interesting character of all is Lally, played by Jessica Williams. It’s very busy, and we don’t really know if we’re dealing with a film from the saga Fantastic Beasts Where Harry Potter.

Dumbledore’s Secrets reconciled me with the saga Fantastic Beasts ! We take advantage again of the group dynamics and we are more interested in their main mission. A little lighthearted at times, but MUCH more engaging than the previous film. Dan Fogler continues to be a favorite…as does the Niffler.

Dumbledore’s Secrets is an exciting and fast-paced adventure in the Wizarding World. Fortunately, it is a thousand places above the previous episode, and it is probably the best film in the saga to date. A great job in writing the characters, a fun adventure, and awesome fights. Fans should love this album!
As you can see, the reviews all point in the same direction. It seems like Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets is much better than the previous film in the saga. The film is then described as less dark and more fun than its predecessor. That’s not all, the production would also be much closer to the first part of the series in its construction, with full of new elements to discover from the point of view of bestiary and lore.
