Marvel Studios just cleared spoilers regarding Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The actress Charlize Theron took the opportunity to formalize her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Indeed, the actress arrives in the Marvel universe within the post-generic scene of Doctor Strange 2.
Charlize Theron joins the MCU
The arrival of Charlize Theron in the MCU has just been formalized by the actress herself. The American superstar, already accustomed to blockbusters of all kinds, comes to swell the ranks of the MCU. After Fast and Furious, The Old Guard, Mad Max: Fury Road or Hancock, now she is a member of the huge Marvel family.
Indeed, and beware SPOILERS for those who haven’t seen it yet Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe actress joined the MCU during the first post-credits scene. A sequence that introduces Clea, a powerful witch, who comes to ask Doctor Strange for help to repair the incursion he created during his war against The Scarlet Witch. The two protagonists then seem step into the Dark Dimension, the residence of the mighty Dormammu. Cléa is the latter’s niece. In the comics, she comes to ask Doctor Strange for help to overthrow Dormammu and regain control of the Dark Dimension. She also plays the role of love-interest. Finally, when Stephen Strange dies, she becomes the new Sorceress Supreme.

Now that Marvel Studios has lifted spoiler restrictions around Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe actress Charlize Theron took to her Twitter account to share a never-before-seen image of her character. A superb photograph where we can see the actress made up with a magnificent purple color which refers to the kitsch costume of the heroine at the end of Sam Raimi’s film.

The fact that Charlize Theron formalizes the role of Cléa, it obviously implies that she should soon return to the MCUno doubt on the occasion of a possible Doctor Strange 3. However, it remains to be seen when and where Cléa will reappear, and therefore, the actress Charlize Theron within the MCU.
