Her romantic relationship with Vision won over many fans, so it was tragic for her to lose one of the only people who loved her as a whole. To top it all, his sadness and loneliness led him to create an alternate reality in Wanda Vision – the series dedicated to him on Disney+ – thus destroying many innocent people by pure act of selfishness.
If Scarlet Witch’s attitude has disappointed a lot of fans within Doctor Strange 2, you have to remember that she acted in despair and loneliness. His future in the MCU is currently uncertain. The end of the film suggests that she would be dead, but she could return somehow in a future project of the franchise. During a recent interview, Elizabeth Olsen explained that she could resume her role in a film dedicated to her character on one condition: that she take a break! Otherwise, she’s counting on Marvel fans to give him ideas for projects that could involve Wanda Maximoff : “I want the fans to get in on the action. I confess to you that I don’t know myself. So if people have any ideas! I’m really curious to know how we’re going to move forward. But I think we’re heading towards something big thing.”
