We have made the decision to delay the release of red fall and Starfield in the first half of 2023.

The Arkane Austin teams (red fall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to make sure you receive the best possible versions of these titles.

We would like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm for red fall and Starfield. This energy is a big part of what inspires us every day and drives us to be excited about what we create. We look forward to sharing with you our first deep dive into the gameplay of red fall and Starfield.

Xbox and Bethesda have planned to hold a presentation event next month. While red fall and Starfield have seen their release date pushed back, we can assume that this last line of the Bethesda press release may imply the presence of gameplay of these games during the event in question.

As a reminder, red fall is an FPS (First Person Shooter) action adventure open worldin which you can face vampires either solo or in co-op. Starfield meanwhile is a single-player RPG, playable in first person or third person, that will transport you to the 2330s. The project’s executive producer, Todd Howardcalled the game a “Skyrim in space”.
